Emma Browning

    Founder & Managing Director

    Emma founded Paradox Consulting Partners in 2016 to focus her energy on creating positive impact in the Triangle after almost a decade with a national consulting firm. She has helped organizations in a variety of industries such as software, technology, manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, and professional sports, and including a number of Fortune 100 and 500 companies and large nonprofit organizations. She grew up outside Boston after emigrating from the United Kingdom as a child, and moved to the Triangle in 2006. Some of her greatest influences and joys are her family, her study of ballet, and her early career at a community arts center in Washington, D.C. She holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Her clients have included Microsoft, Cisco, the NFL, and Duke University, just to name a few.

    Robin Kegerise

    Principal Consultant

    Robin joined Paradox Consulting Partners in 2018. She has ten years of consulting experience in talent management and organization effectiveness, working across a number of industries. Robin is passionate about helping individuals and organizations realize their potential and building alignment of business strategy and people programs. She was born in North Carolina then lived in a number of places including Louisiana, Saudi Arabia, Arkansas, and Michigan. After completing her education in Michigan, she relocated back to North Carolina for a career opportunity and decided to grow roots in the Triangle. Her passions and interests include her family, running, and furthering work-life balance efforts for women. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a Masters in HR and Labor Relations from Michigan State University.

    Haven Cockerham

    Haven Cockerham is Founder and CEO of Cockerham & Associates. Haven is a seasoned Chief Human Resources Officer with over 30 years of experience in Fortune 250 companies. He has successfully led organizations and human resources functions through large-scale transformations. Haven served as a senior executive at General Motors, DTE Energy and RR Donnelley. He owned and operated a Chevrolet dealership in South Carolina and has served as a board member for non-profit and for-profit organizations. Haven combined his expertise in technology and human resources to guide the development of two human capital cloud applications, ERG Insight™ for managing employee and business resource groups and Strategy Lighthouse™ for tracking and reporting on strategy implementation performance. He holds a BS in Economics from North Carolina A & T State University and an MBA from Michigan State University’s Executive MBA Program.

    Michael O'Malley

    Dr. O’Malley began his career as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Colorado and has since been an Adjunct Professor of Management at Teachers College and the Columbia School of Business. Dr. O’Malley’s work in Human Resources spans over 25 years and includes leadership roles in HayGroup, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Sibson Consulting, and Pearl Meyer. Dr. O’Malley also served as CEO of Promontory Human Capital Solutions in New York, an affiliated company of Promontory Financial Group LLC (a strategy, risk management and regulatory compliance consulting firm focusing primarily on the financial services industry), where he started the firm’s Human Resources consulting capability. He obtained his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University where he was Phi Beta Kappa and his PhD. in Social Psychology and Quantitative Methods from Vanderbilt University. He is the author of 7 business and 4 children’s books.

    Jim Kochanski

    Jim is Managing Director of The Corte Group, an Organizational Direction and Design consultancy www.thecortegroup.com. Jim seeks to understand an organization's performance needs and then design the simplest yet complete solutions for improving performance. His areas of focus are clarifying organizational strategic direction and design of organizations to accomplish strategies. For 20 years, Jim was a Senior Partner in Sibson Consulting, a Division of The Segal Group. During his time with Sibson, he served as Practice Leader for Performance and Rewards, Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness. Prior to Sibson, Jim had positions with Nortel, Quaker Oats, and Kelloggs. He has a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Maryland and Master’s degree from American University. He is the author of over 40 publications and has been a speaker at many national and international conferences.
